We emphasize proactive risk mitigation, operational integrity, and modern technology integration to deliver business-centric legal solutions.
We are looking for a highly articulate, meticulous, and proactive Associate Advocate specializing in Employment Law & Labor Compliance. In this role, you will advise client organizations on workforce governance, draft and review commercial employment documentation, oversee statutory compliance frameworks (including POSH compliance), and support pre-litigation dispute strategies.
Conduct statutory employment compliance audits across Indian central and state labor regulations (Factory Act, Shops & Establishment Act, EPF, ESI, Payment of Gratuity, etc.).
Lead POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) implementation for client organizations, including policy drafting, Internal Committee (IC) constitution, and annual statutory report filings.
Formulate workplace policies, including Code of Conduct, Whistleblower Policies, Remote Work frameworks, and Disciplinary Procedures.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex employment agreements, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Non-Competes, Consultant Contracts, and Severance/Exit Agreements.
Assist founders and executive leadership teams with ESOP policy frameworks, founder vesting terms, and senior management employment contracts.
Draft legal notices, statutory replies, and show-cause notices related to employment disputes, breach of contract, and non-solicitation violations.
Assist senior advocacy counsel in preparing case documentation, pleadings, and factual background briefs for employment-related proceedings.
Perform thorough legal research on legislative amendments, judicial precedents, and regulatory updates in labor and corporate law.
Interface directly with HR heads, legal managers, and corporate leadership to provide clear, actionable legal guidance.
Education: LL.B. or B.A. LL.B. from a recognized law school/university.
Bar Enrolment: Active enrollment with the Bar Council of India (State Bar Council).
Experience: 2 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate employment law, compliance advisory, or employment contract drafting (law firm or corporate in-house experience preferred).
Core Skills:
Exceptional legal drafting, proofreading, and contract analysis skills.
Sound working knowledge of Indian employment statutes, state shop & establishment rules, and POSH Act regulations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate legal terminology into clear business advice.
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
